In 2010, Kraft sold the DiGiorno and Delissio brands, along with the rest of its frozen pizza business, to Swiss-based food manufacturer Nestlé. The move helped to finance Kraft's bid for Cadbury, while also effectively ensuring that Nestlé would not submit a competing bid for the confectionery company.

This pizza was one of the overall favorites in our taste test. Among the only rising-crust pizzas we tested that actually rose, the DiGiorno pizza came out well browned, with a voluminous, puffy crust that was crispy on the bottom and bready but fully cooked throughout.

LET'S COOK

1. Preheat & bake at 400°F. Keep pizza frozen while preheating.
2. Remove pizza from freshness wrap.
3. Place pizza directly on center oven rack.
4. Bake 22 to 25 minutes.
5. For a softer crust place on a cookie sheet and bake 25 to 28 minutes.
