From the United States. After putting this scope on my 6.5 Creedmoor and getting it dialed in I found it to be very accurate and so fast and easy to range different targets at long range. I plan on getting a couple more of these scopes for other rifles I have. Love it.
Design-wise, the Eliminator IV is quite similar to the Burris Eliminator III series, except for the battery compartment on the side. It is now a lot sleeker and holds 2 AA batteries in place.

Glass Clarity & Reticle
The Vortex and the Burris both offer exceptional glass. The two optics feature fully multi-coated lenses with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces. I did notice the Vortex comes with a slight pink/orange tint, whereas the Burris seems to have more accurate color.
308 for Northwoods hunting. This scope is perfect for that! I've gotten into some serious shooting since and the Burris scopes are great performers. Add in the fact that they are priced better than most of the other big name scopes, and you're getting a Great product at a value price.

Most of the Burris products are designed and manufactured at its production facility in Greeley, Colorado. After the acquisition of Steiner Optik GmbH by the Beretta Group, the manufacturing of some Steiner products was shifted to the Burris plant in Colorado.
The Burris line of scopes is not made in China. Most of them, except the top of the line XTR II scopes, are made in the Philippines ( Fullfield II & E1, MSR, Scout, Droptine scopes + the midrange Burris Mtac and Veracity scope line).
