Design-wise, the Eliminator IV is quite similar to the Burris Eliminator III series, except for the battery compartment on the side. It is now a lot sleeker and holds 2 AA batteries in place.

The reason I gave it a 9 out of 10 was that the glass would have to be upgraded before I would use it for something finer such as prairie dogs or long range precision shooting. Both SFP reticles perform equally in terms of brightness. The only difference is: The Vortex comes with 11 brightness settings, while the Burris only has 10. Round 1 (Glass Clarity) Winner: the Strike Eagle.
