One of the nation's "cheeziest" treasures was created right here in Dayton. Cheez-It brand crackers were first introduced in 1921 by the Green & Green Company, then located at the corners of Cincinnati and Concord streets. "You'll like Cheez-It" was an early slogan promoting these cheesy crackers.

Cheez-It is a brand of cheese cracker manufactured by the Kellogg Company through its Sunshine Biscuits division. Approximately 26 by 24 millimetres (1.0 by 0.94 in), the rectangular crackers are made with wheat flour, vegetable oil, cheese, skim milk, salt, and spices.
